Experience30+ years of Teaching Mathematics in W.A. high schools. Now retired, I was Head of Mathematics (teacher in charge) at just 2 large metropolitan high schools for 26 of those 30 odd years.
I have tutored successfully for several years since retiring. In retirement I have the time and the energy and the extensive experience to provide a conscientious, sensitive and highly effective tuition service.
Please note; I won't tutor University level Mathematics unless the Uni. course is a "bridging type" or "enabling" course based on year 11/12 stage 2 or stage 3 AB or CD. Students who "missed out" on these courses in high school, might find that I can be of enormous assistance here. Knowing how to explain concepts simply and clearly to students is sometimes only part of the equation... for students, who have "fallen by the wayside", a good tutor needs to have a sense of what questions to ask and the sequencing of such questions to students(for remedial purposes) is quite critical ...this, in my view, is largely an acquired, experiential, skill.
Further information about me can obtained by googling me at tutorfinder where I am one of the premium tutors.
FINALLY: PLEASE NOTE HERE THAT I PREFER STUDENTS TO TO COME TO MY HOME IN SCARBOROUGH WHERE I CAN IMMEDIATELY ACCESS ALL MY MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS' BENEFIT. IF MY PROFESSIONAL TIME ALLOWS HOWEVER I WILL CONSIDER TRAVELLING SHORT DISTANCES TO YOUR HOME AND WILL QUOTE ACCORDING TO THE TRAVLELLNG TIME TAKEN.
