I graduated from Atlantic Union College with a degree in Mathematics. My plan is to become an actuary, and I am studying to get a doctorate in Information Technology. My favorite course to teach is Math, because it is an essential part of our lives each day. Whether we are buying things or selling things, or building homes, or developing a computer program, we need to have a strong foundation in Math. When I teach, I try to make the class relaxed and enjoyable. I give the student the opportunity to ask questions, and I provide the tools and practice problems to help the student understand the concepts. I am available to tutor a number of different math courses, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, and Algebra 3/4. When I am not studying or teaching, I like to watch sports, listen to music, play board or video games, garden, practice martial arts, and work on various DIY projects around my home.
