I have a degree in biochemistry. I later achieved a master's in teaching and have taught in high school in various states. I have worked with students from remedial to honors programs. I prefer to stay rooted to tutoring in one-on-one private sessions with individual students. The main science subjects I concentrate on are biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth science. I prefer to tutor in biology the most due to the benefits it gives a student to learn more about their bodies and physical makeup. That should guide them to more healthy lifestyle choices. I am also a good tutor for math. I can teach from basic math to complex algebra. I use everyday life examples in my tutoring sessions to increase the student's interest and understanding of a subject. I do volunteer work when I can for my neighborhood like teaching fitness class. I am studying on how to give speeches through the Toastmasters program where I currently am a district leader. I blog about education issues and developing professions. I also tutor in standardized testing prep for the ACT and PCAT. I am an experienced tutor and I am a reliable guide for getting students to perform with maximum success.
